Whispers about Stanley Aviation…

Stanley Aviation

The word is out that Flightline, a restaurant/beer garden featured in the November 2013 Front Porch, that wanted to locate in the Eastbridge Town Center, is now pursuing financing to purchase the Stanley Aviation site in NW Aurora and may close within a month. The building, located at  2501 Dallas St. is valued at $2,097,360 by the Adams County Assessor’s Office. It is 102,506 square feet and was built in 1954. The property extends to Westerly Creek on the west. We’ve heard the plan is to create a destination similar to The Source in Denver’s River North District. The Source is “a collective of food artisans and retailers.”

I’m looking forward to watching this develop. I took a tour of the site yesterday and it promises to be an amazing addition to the area.

If true, this is wonderful news and will provide a fantastic neighborhood amenity that can't be developed at the Eastbridge Town Center. Plus, this potentially will catalyze redevelopment in North Aurora and bring more synergy between our neighborhood and our neighbors to the south.
