OPENING

After more than a decade of pop-up burger nights at Marczyk Fine Foods’ Uptown and Colfax locations, Marczyk FineBurger opened a permanent burger restaurant in the former Wahoo’s Fish Taco space in at 7980 E. Northfield Blvd.

Wax Trax Records debuted its fourth storefront steps from its previous location. Following two years as a kiosk inside Stanley Marketplace at 2501 N. Dallas St., the record store celebrated its move into a 1,000-square-foot retail space with live music and giveaways. Wax Trax also began buying and selling used music and stereo equipment in July.

Revel Strength and Wellness, at 2954 N. Havana St., will launch the wellness side of the business on Aug. 3. The gym is now open. A grand opening is scheduled for late August.
